                     EDITED VERSION

    by icerain
    (c) 2006-2007

                     HISTORY OF EDIT
I started this song about Dec. '05'. I uploaded it to
TMA around Sept. or Oct. of '06'.
It was rejected,I knew it would be though because I
thought maybe it didn't sound right. Like out of tune
and the bass, drums and cymbols out of sync.
The rejection confirmed that my hearing was good.
I practically re-wrote the whole thing, fine tuned it and
fixed some drum patterns. It is still the same tune, it
just sounds so much better.
Finally finished it on Jan. 5th 2007.
Now i will upload it to TMA again and see what happens.

SAMPLE HISTORY
Samples 2, 3, 4, 8 & 9, are mine.
Rip them, use them, please mention
my name(icerain/Reno). Thanks, goes to xerxes for the
use of sample # 5. Samples 1, 6 and 10 were downloaded
from Tracks In Space, a LONG time ago by a friend of
mine and then given to me. This sample history thing
is a pain in my butt because half the time I can't
remember where the samples were ripped from or their
origin. So, I been organizing my samples.
However, in my opinion, it is important to give a sample
history, if possible.

MY STORY
Florida is where i grew up, mostly in Daytona Beach.
I have pretty much lived all over Florida, but this
one tiny town called Fort Christmas is where I had
lived as a toddler and of course I had no recollection
of it after I became a teenager.
I was always curious about this tiny town so I went on
a fishing trip with family and friends to the Banana River
by the town of Fort Christmas. An old friend of the family
told me that day, an interesting piece of history on how
the indians of that region used to transport bananas on
wooden rafts to villages along the river shores. The river
in most places was only 2 to 3 feet deep. You could
practically walk across to the other side.
As the story is being told to me, I visualized these tropical
looking people, all happy and singing this fruity cool tropical
song as they pushed the rafts loaded with bananas down the river.
I believe this town has grown much since then and is now on
a map. One day soon, I will go there again.
I happen to be thinking of all this one day and was inspired to
write this song with a little iced tropical feel to it.
I was going to title this song "The Banana Boat", but it
sounded corny. Thanks for reading my ramblings and
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOR 2007.
