"Trancenational: West"
------------------------------------
Western song of the Trancenational
pair
by Trustmaster
------------------------------------
Best of all play this song directly
in Modplug Tracker (bass expansion
on, surround on, reverb, HQ
resampling and more than 64 max
polyphony). Or in Modplug Player if
you don't have the tracker. Even
XMPlay plays it rather poor. Don't
use WinAMP - it doesn't play IT
files right.
------------------------------------
This is the second part of the
"Trancenational" tracks pair. First
one is called "Trancenational: East"
and it is a bit experimental song
inspired by Asian folk. Though I
don't like it so I won't make you
download it if you don't wish ;-)
This track is my fast production
made just during a few days. I
decided to make this piece of
tracked electronic music as closing
words to my tracking activity. Yes,
I'm going to stop tracking and this
is probably my last module. Why so?
Would it probably be better to move
to Renoise for example instead of
quitting tracking at all? I don't
stop tracking because "Modplug
tracker is too weak for me". It is
really much more powerful than
every of us thinks. But I do so
because in tracking I spend too much
time and power on technical part
rather than on the musical. It's
cool you can control every detail
of every note but sorry, I don't
have enough time for it.
So, I decided to do it in IT format
in "classical trance tracking" way
if I can say like this. I've tried
too keep it in 28 channels but the
poly reaches sometimes 64 channels
(so you need a good player). Also
I've tried to keep the RAR archive
in 1 MB, so samples are mono, cut
down but still 16 bit and don't
sound so bad.
It turns out to be Eurodance but as
I like Trance I add it into the
title :-)
To tell the truth, I dislike this
song. Maybe your opinion is
different? Tell me ;-)

= Track Info =
Format: Impulse Tracker 2 (IT)
Tracker: Modplug Tracker
Softsynth: FL Studio 5
Panning, volume controls, sample
loops, instrument envelopes, NNAs,
filter slides, love and alcohol is
all you need :-)
------------------------------------
= Samples Info =
Most of the samples are taken from
different Sample CDs and edited
myself in SoundForge. Others are
synthesized in FL Studio 5 using
Sytrus, TS404 and 3xOsc generators.
#5 is ripped from Wayfinder but cut
down, optimized for loop and tuned
a bit. Sorry, I like his songs too
much :-)

Greetings to everyone who knows me.
