R I S E O F T H E E M P I R E

Ironically, this song started as a techno song. Guess what? It's
not. I am quite happy with this song (especially the first transition to
a slower tempo). I just passed my one year anniversary of tracking, which
unusually enough, is the same day as my birthday: April 12. I just
turned 20. 20 is such a boreing age in the States. Nothing new happens.
At age 16, I can drive (in Pennsylvania anyhow). At age 17, I can join
selective service. Age 18, I can vote. Age 19 and 20 are both bland
years. At age 21, I can drink. And after that, birthdays are just a new
year to your age. Ack. Well, think, this time next year, you're gonna
download a song from me and say "Wow, Coplan can drink now...just look
what it's done to his music!"
Well, this tune is definately one of my best. That could have
something to do with the fact that I took well over two months to actually
finish this one. It all comes down to the tiny nit-picking that I did
when I didn't care to study.
But seriously...I hope you enjoy the tune. I'm not gonna do any
sort of greets this time. If you are important to me, I'm sure you know.
But I will say, this song has been inspired by three people: Catspaw,
Fred and Rhythm Greene; two of which I have never chatted with. School is
almost out, so expect more tunes soon.
