Moonscape Sunrise

For over a year this song has sat on my Hardrive, a mass of
potential and greatness that I slaved over, trying to make it sound as
perfect as my musical talent let me. And now I release it, for I believe
it is time for such a work of art to be heard by others. This was supposed
to be for a demo for a group I was in called Nutropik. And perhaps one day
it may very well be, but until then I wish it to be heard and enjoyed by
those who choose to listen.
It was a hard decision, really, for I can see very well the
potential this song has in a demo. But I hope for there to be others. Yet,
in order for my songs to be in demos I need to belong to an active
demo-group, don't I (if you are interested in my talents for you group,
lemmie know :) I think the reason I decided to release it is because I
think in a way it was holding me back to making even better songs - like
when songs begin to pile up on one's work directory and one doesn't know
where to start.
Though, to be fair, I guess you could say I am never really
finished with most of my songs. For many of them I dream of bigger things,
and plan to make remixes and such on them one day when I have more money
and more equipment. Such is it with this song, for I still have big and
grand dreams for this peice. And one day, perhaps out of the hope and
desire to do great things in this almighty demoscene, someone will find
this song and at least be inspired to create their own demo.
It is a hope, which is part of what this song is about. A hope of
dreams to come true, for the cold to become warm again, and for the long
lost spirits to find their way back to life on moonscape sunrise...
Greets To:
-Members of Nutropik, for the spirit never dies and hopefully
the fires will flare up again one day not too far in the future
-DarkFury (of Nutropik) for his very nice samples (awesome strings!)
-Purple Motion for inspiring me to be in the scene and for his wonderful
PraxisBlast that you hear throughout this song
-Farmer and Hunz for their samples, too
-Reduz for his work with CheesTracker
-Those sceners who believe in great things
-You, for listening and hopefully thinking of the great, wonderful spirit
that this song inspires, at least in me
