It was so long ago since we last met, so long ago...
You were my best friend, we knew everything about eachother.
We never hid anything.
Together there was nothing we couldn't do.
But just as long as we were together.
That night... It feels like centuries ago.
Why did you vanish? Where have you been?
I remember everything we said to eachother.
I remember everything we didn't say, we felt it didn't have to be said.
And now we meet again.
Not one day has passed without me thinking where you are, how you've been.
But I don't recognize you.
You have the same smile, the same innocent eyes.
You talk like you've always talked, you're just the way I remember you.
Yet something has changed.
What have you gone through? Who have you become?
I still miss my best friend, but now I know I will never get him back.
Although we've always known eachother, I will have to get to know him
again.
Is it me? Is it me that have changed?

I started working on this song two months before DreamHack.
After two days it fell asleep on my harddrive, and two days before DH I
decided to finish it.
I am hoping it will give a feeling of some kind of sad happiness.
For that is maybe what you feel when something isn't the way it used to
be.
My problem with tracking is that I don't know how a song should sound.
I throw it together, some peices that sounds good, but in the end it gives
no structure at all. So to make it better I add gazillions of details.
Therefore, my songs are detailed but threwn together.
Weird...
I tried to add some structure to this song. It's better, but I'm not 100%
satisfied. With DreamHack starting tomorrow, it'll have to do anyway.
