Notes:
This song was originally designed for a rom file on Nintendo 64. It's
designed to be easily converted to .XM, and it is an .XM file. I decided
to release this mod file to promote my mp3.com site since I'm hoping to
achieve #1 in my area once again. I need to be known in Brampton, for any
future reference.. Hell if for the only reason to be noticed by old
friends!
I had actually had this song done for at least a month now. It has been
done even before Chrono Cross was released, and I based it heavily on the
Super NES version of the song (The string influence, accompanying the
violin) though the piano and the flute and the song key is all in the PSX
key. The SNES key was higher and the "la"'s were lower an octave. It
just wouldn't work, and I wanted to get these La's in, so I did it this
way instead. Not bad huh? :) I always loved this song, even during the
course of Chrono Cross.
Note that if you ever do hear the N64 version of this song, the flute will
not sound as well rounded as it does here, that's because it's using an
NNA here to smoothen it out. The N64 version wont have that because .XM's
don't support it, and I'll have to redesign the whole song to make it
sound the same as this. (You don't think so? One lead, 2 echos for the
flute. Now double that to simulate NNA's in XM, wow, 6 channels are gone
already.. I don't have that luxury.. I'm hoping the echo support in the
N64 ROM will be able to smoothen it out for me, but if not, no huge loss.
:) )
Anyway, I'm taking a break from releasing songs, but trust me, I am
active. *cough40CTsongscompletecough*

p.s. thanks to Mirai Trunks for some of the chrono cross samples. Couldn't
have done it without him. Well, I could have, but the song wouldn't sound
consistent
