"Far south of the Nanroth Peninsula, home of our kindgom's
 largest trade port, S.van, lies the island of Gendyn. This
 island has a climate that is too cold. As such, it is best
 described as a barren wasteland. It is inhospitable; only
 a few small villages exist on its coasts. The rest of the
 island is mountainous and full of wild animals. The
 villagers live by fishing, trading and hunting. There are
 no resources of strategic interest there. Also, legends
 say that the centre of the island is home to demons, orcs,
 dwarfs and other such mythical creatures..."

a possible invasion of Gendyn. Dated 1342.

Ignoring the royal report of 1342 concerning Gendyn Island,
a Fardawian explorer by the name of Raunas E.dra set out in
1365 to charter the island. He spent 6 months exploring the
island and talking to the natives to document their worldview.
His work, "An Account of the Island of Gendyn and its inhabitants"
was published the next year in his native Fardawa.

Despite the advantages of today's research and technology,
"Account..." is still considered a seminal work, and is still
studied in the country's universities.

Notes: Hugely inspired by "Freezing Tears" and "Hidden
       Forest" by Gargoyle. Maybe a bit by Vangelis' "1492",
       I dunno. Very similar to my mp3 "Untergrund" though.

       Also, I promise next time I'll take samples from my
       own Enya and Lorena McKennet CDs :)
