   as we live 1997, the scene will unfortunately continue to succumb to
   the ever increasing lameness that has been plagueing it severely for 
   about six months now.  more newbies will appear.  a few will be great,
   some will be average - and will grow, but i feel that most will be 
   nothing more than lame.  /incoming directories will be swamped with
   people's first songs and there will be no way to escape the garbage.
   This will force some of the scene's greatest trackers to leave.  Some
   will leave alltogether, sadly realizing that what they used to cherish
   and call their own has been stolen from them by ignorance and stupidity
   while others will collectively abandon the scene, break off and form an
   underground, leaving the crap-saturated scene to collapse upon itself. 
   we can only hope that we can survive this, as i'm sure it will happen.
