Lyrics:
A rooftop landscape, seen by the light of a thousand
neon signs.
The sound of a saxiphone rises from the alley below.
Nobody comes up here much, so I'm suprised by the sound
of footsteps behind me.
I turn and see the face of an old friend.
He tells me: "The future is what we make of it."
I say: "Sometimes we need to go where destiny sends us."

This song represents several firsts:
- I've always despised drum loops as being repetitive,
unoriginal, and wasteful of space. A friend teased
that this was because I didn't know how to use them.
I took this as a challenge, hence the drum loop.
- This is the first time I've ever written a song with
lyrics. Is there a way to record a sample while
listening to an IT?
