notes . just recently, two escaped convicts from mississippi showed up
        in my town.  over the course of three days, they managed to 
        narrowly escape the authorities a number of times.  while there
        was always the concern that they'd end up at my house, what was
        even more overwhelming was the thought of what it must be like.
        this is the translation of those thoughts into music.

        as a side note, both were captured, not gunned down, but hell, i
        retain the right of artistic freedom don't i?
